“But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’ “Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’
“But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’ Luke 15:24-27
The master wasn’t mincing words here at all, thank goodness he wasn’t talking about a physically narrow door, otherwise that’ll be a big issue for me and some of my friends, however we are working hard to change that right now; fingers crossed.
We ate and drank with you they said; goes to show that God blessing you is not particularly an indication you’re going to heaven, you must walk the straight and narrow.
Options are good but some won’t enhance you along you eternal journey. I don’t need to start making a list of things that’ll slow you down or keep you from reaching heaven. I’ve come to realise that 9 out of 10 times we know when we are doing something wrong.
What we need to remember is the standard of God stands sure; it’s not going to change. We must change and that pretty quick too.
Eternity is a very long time; brief passing funs will not destroy yours in Jesus’ name.
