“What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.” Luke 13:18&19
Everything in the kingdom starts at the seed level, but it doesn’t end there. The problem with starting at this level is a lot of effort is required to bring it to the desired end. You may have the best seed in the world; it profits nothing unless it is planted.
It’s only natural to want to compare, but have you seen the avocado seed! Comparing can leave you depressed when all you’ve got is a mustard seed. You may not yet possess all you want but what you have is considerable, appreciate it.
In a way this is like the comedy of Noah’s flood where representatives of the slowest moving animals made it to the ark, while the wisest humans of the time didn’t. In the kingdom, it’s not so much the size of your seed, if you plant it and put in the necessary effort, God will make it great just as well.
Stop doubting and start believing in yourself; with God’s help I don’t just see you blessed, you will be a blessing in Jesus’ name.
