Then the Rabshakeh stood and called out
with a loud voice in Hebrew, and spoke, saying, “Hear the word of the
great king, the king of Assyria! Thus says the king: ‘Do not let
Hezekiah deceive you, for he shall not be able to deliver you from his

this happens, the usual temptation is to surrender or run. Before you
throw in the towel however, take a cue from Hezekiah; he ran to God. It
is important to have a rock you can run to for refuge. It is not the

the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to
the rock that is higher than I”.
You might not have been in good
relationship with God, not to worry, Jesus said “All that the Father
gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means
cast out” John 6:37. Let your worries and all confrontations drive you
to God first, He’s ever ready to help.
May the mighty hands of God keep and guide you in every trouble in Jesus’ name.
